Message from the Office

Hi Panthers!

We know this is a very challenging time for our students, our families and our communities. It is a time of settling into different routines (again), learning new ways for learning at home and challenging our norms! It is a time we all hoped was behind us.

We are so impressed with our students, and families, that have been online for their virtual class meetings or smaller group instruction- wow! If you still need a computer please let the homeroom teacher know and either Mrs. Morocco or Mrs. Beck will reach out to help.

If you haven’t logged into the virtual classroom yet (Google Classroom and/or D2L) please try! We are here to help you access the lessons, meetings and opportunities to learn. Although some of you experienced this last school year, there is still new learning- so if you need help please let us know!

The last few weeks have had many announcements that impact school, home and how the community works. Recently they released that students in Gr. 1 to 3 will be required to wear masks when they return to school. We learn about the announcements the same time you do- we appreciate your patience as we work through how these new announcements impact the Board and Plymouth. We will continue to update you of any announcements shared and what it means to Plymouth and our students.

We have started to do Announcements at the beginning and end of the week. The announcements at the end of the week are a chance to celebrate students and how they are doing- listen to our shout outs! We will continue to practice our Mindfulness on Mondays, a chance to practice a strategy that can help us become calm, alert and ready to learn. Remember to use those strategies whenever you need too!

Most importantly, we hope you and your families are safe and healthy. Please know the staff at Plymouth consider you all a part of our family and we worry about how you are all doing during this time. Please continue to reach out with questions or concerns.

Panthers, remember to always
