School Council

School Council

At Plymouth Public School, we believe that having parents and guardians involved with School Council is a way to support your child's education and foster a strong sense of belonging in our school community.

School councils are a wonderful way for parents and guardians to get involved in our school community. It provides a place where you can share your ideas, concerns and suggestions to help make our school the best place it can be for all students. Joining School Council can also help to build connections with other families and our wonderful staff while planning fun events and fundraising campaigns that positively impact the students here at Plymouth.

Your engagement demonstrates to your child the importance of community and teamwork, encouraging them to develop their own sense of responsibility and pride for our school community. Whether it’s attending meetings, helping out around the school, or participating in fundraising efforts, your presence makes a difference and shows your child that you care about their school and education. Together, we can create a vibrant and supportive environment that benefits everyone!

Your voice matters, and we'd love to have you join us on at our next School Council meeting on Tuesday, October 15th at 9:15am.
