Message From the Office

FROM THE OFFICE

Thank you to everyone who came to the Open House on Thursday evening- such a fantastic turn out! It was so great to have our Panther Community seeing the wonderful things happening in the building. Thank you Mr. Napper and family for being the BBQers for the evening- greatly appreciated!

On Thursday, October 20th there is a school Ice Dog game! Families have an opportunity to purchase tickets for the game and see school staff there as well! Tickets are available on School Cash Online- if you aren’t registered (it’s easy to do) please contact the school to ensure you get tickets. We hope to see you there!

Our students had a busy week! There was Cross Country, Int Co-ed Soccer, Jr Soccer, and the Snow Plow Wow painting team. We have three students who qualified for moving on to the Cross Country run at Fireman’s Park- such a great accomplishment! Our Int Co-ed Soccer team had a great day (and had the perfect weather) for a day of sun, sportsmanship and soccer! They had a wonderful day! Our Jr Soccer team had a great day and really developed their skills and team building! Also, some of you may have seen the huge Snow Plow that was dropped off this week. A group of Int students worked to paint the plow for the City of Welland- they worked hard as a team and accomplished great results in one day! They have definitely shared what it means to be a Panther.

UNDER THE WEATHER?

Although not mandatory, the school screening tool is still accessible on the DSBN website. Thank you for keeping your child(ren) home when not feeling well- it’s greatly appreciated! A few helpful guidelines, students are generally well enough to return to school 24 hours of no fever and 24 to 48 hours after a gastrointestinal issue.

  • Did you know we wear our Panther Wear (almost) every Friday?
  • And we do a Panther Paw Draw? Students earn Panther Paws when they do their best and do what’s right and we celebrate every Friday by doing a draw for a small prize! We love celebrating the great things our Panthers do each and every day.

Panthers, remember to always,
